Top bar controls:
- Home — Recenters the map on the initial view.
- Info — Toggles the side panel open/closed.
- Find Me — Locates you on the map (requires browser permission).
- Legend — Shows this map legend.
- Help — Shows this help panel.
Find Device: Enter a Device ID (e.g. MT-001) and press Find. Press Clear to reset.
Simulated feed: Fictional cached telemetry advances every 10 seconds. Marker positions wander gradually near their starting points, and the dashboard updates on each step. Running and Stopped describe the sample generator status, not whether the device is moving.
Side Panel Tabs:
- Info — Detailed telemetry and a recent GPS trail for the selected device. Click a device on the map or in the dashboard list. On a phone, tap Map to see the trail after selecting a device.
- Dashboard — Fleet-wide KPIs, status overview, fuel distribution, and device list. Click a device in the list to zoom to it on the map.
Layer Control (top-right of map) — Switch base maps or toggle weather overlays.
Measure Tool — Draw lines or polygons to measure distances and areas.
