About Spatial Connections:

Spatial Connections was formed to fill needs that many organizations with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have, which are guidance in implementing and managing a GIS program, and finding better and more creative ways to publish information from GIS.

While GIS can help us make maps that are easy to update based on information related to various map features; and that we can use GIS to find map features that meet certain criteria and/or are within a specified distance of other select map features, many organizations with GIS are faced with many of the same issues. For some it is how to start a GIS program and other it is how to get more from their investments in GIS.
